Developed by Count Adolf Patrick Hamilton in late‑19th‑century Sweden, the Hamiltonstovare descended from English Foxhounds, Harriers, and local hounds to create a versatile solo trailer for hare and fox. Recognized in Scandinavia and beyond, it remains a keen working hound and engaging companion.
